Dear Parents:
As we prepare your child for the MCAS tests, we ask your support with the following:
- Please make sure your child is well rested on testing days. It is recommended that middle school aged children receive between eight and ten hours of sleep at night.
- Please make sure your child arrives at school on time.
- Please do not schedule doctor or dentist appointments on testing days.
- Please make sure your child leaves his/her cell phone at home. Cell phones brought into class can invalidate the MCAS test.
- Please encourage your child to do his/her best on the MCAS test. Do something special for your child, so he/she feels confident and relaxed.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to provide a positive testing environment for your child. A calendar of Grade 6, 7 and 8 MCAS testing is posted below.
